Pruning time
Pruning is one of the most important activities for a winery. Grape vines need regular pruning and training to ensure new, strong, fruit-bearing shoots for the next vintage. In our vineyards this kind of practice starts in December and finish at the end of February. The vines need periodical maintenance throughout to keep them productive and under control.
Grapes will born on new growth arising from last year’s wood. Knowing how to cut grapes can make the difference between a good crop and a bad one.
In these days we are working hard in our vineyards, waiting for another great vintage!
